On Honest Marketing for a Kids App
I'm bad at marketing the way most apps do it, so I don't try.
I won't tell you YHO will make your child a genius. It won't. It's a few calm activities, not a shortcut to Harvard. I won't show you a kid in a lab coat on the store page. I won't promise 'screen time you can feel good about' with a stock photo of a smiling family.
What I will tell you is what the app is. Montessori-inspired activities, no ads, no subscription, one price. What your child does with it is up to them and you.
Many parents tell me the honest description is what made them download. Not the claims, the lack of them. I think people are tired of being sold to and can tell when they're not.
So this is my marketing: I tell you what it is, I tell you what it costs, and I let you decide. If it's not for you, that's fine. I'd rather have the right few families than the wrong many.
It's slow. It works.

More activities isn't always better. A note on choosing depth over clutter.
On Listening to the Parents Who Email Me
The emails I get from parents shape what I build next. Here's how that actually works.
A Note to the Parents Who Tried YHO First
You downloaded an app with almost no reviews. That's a leap, and I don't take it lightly.
